俗語或詞語嘅第一個字, 或者 ”關鍵詞”, 其發音以 F 音開頭

The first word or "keyword" of the slang term or expression beginning with the sound F.


分一杯羹 [fan1 jat1 bui1 gang1] get/take a/someone's cut (of)

He helped nogotiated the deal, so he got a cut of the profits.

If customers sell through our platform, we'll take a cut of each transaction.


火上加油 [fo2 soeng6 gaa1 jau2] add fuel to the fire

His sarcastic comment adds fuel to the fire during the argument.

Her joke at the wrong moment added fuel to the fire.


放飛機 [fong3 fei1 gei1] stand someone up/flake on someone (US slang)

She asked him out and then stood him up. He had waited for an hour.

He got stood up on his first date. She never showed.

We were supposed to meet at 2:00 PM, but John texted me at 1:45 PM to flake on me again.

He promised he would help me to move my bed last night, but he flaked on me at the last minute.
